1966 Pontiacs all used the same form, but text formatting varied from plant-to-plant. 1966 had three price changes that occurred during the model year. A reduction in Excise Tax occurred on January 1st, 1966, and Pontiac printed a message on their window stickers stating that the prices shown reflected that reduction. Then on March 16th, 1966, the Excise Tax was reinstated and a different message was printed. Based on when your car was invoiced will determine which message (or perhaps no message at all) will appear on your window sticker. Your window sticker may vary slightly from the one pictured based on the production plant where your car was built.
