Description
1971 Pontiacs all used the same form, with the exception of Norwood-built 1971 Firebirds. Text formatting varied from plant-to-plant. Plants adopted a coding system where they placed text information outside of the blue border area of the window sticker (as seen in the sample). Some plants also issued window stickers with the last 6 digits of the VIN hand stamped, and the font of that stamp varied from plant-to-plant. We replicate the hand stamp for Pontiacs built at those plants. We pay attention to details.
1971 Pontiac window stickers appear similar to 1970, but there are a few small changes regarding a new 7% Federal Excise Tax. 1971 window stickers, just like in 1970, had a large area in the middle that had vertical grid lines which, from a distance, appear to be a blue shaded area. This is another one of the forms we had to design from scratch (all our forms are from scratch) as no other reproduction window sticker company offers the correct 1971 Pontiac form.
