1972 Pontiacs used a “blue” form at the beginning of the model year, very similar to the 1971 form, but changes were made to the pre-printed lines on the form regarding tax. On January 1st, 1972, a totally new form was introduced (we call the “red” form) that would be used for the next few years. When we see the invoice for your 1972 Pontiac, we will determine whether it gets the “blue” or the “red” form.
